About CMFM

The department of Community Medicine and Family Medicine has been engaged in providing health services through the following centers in rural and urban population of Rajasthan-

1. Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) Pratap Nagar 
2. Centre for Rural Health AIIMS (CRHA) Dhawa
3. Centre for Rural Health AIIMS (CRHA) Keru
4. Community Health Centre Dhundhara.

All the above health centers provide OPD services on daily basis . The skilled doctors are available at the centers to monitor health services with the help of competent paramedical and nursing staff. 

Under graduate training:

The department of Community Medicine and Family Medicine runs “Family Health Advisory Programme” to study the disease related factors and environment in the family and community. The department has the honour of being a single department which provides unique competency based training to under graduates at health centres under the supervision of faculty members and senior resident.

Activities The department emphasizes the activities related to health education and creating public awareness. Keeping ourselves aware about the importance of Yoga in our life International Yoga Day was organized and celebrated every year. Time to time department is holding various programmes to observe International Health Days. The department has been involved in various research projects in the field of public health. The faculty members are actively involved in supervising under graduate students for their research studies.
